Following Mr Kakadia’s footsteps, his elder son Divyesh Kakadia took the responsibility of taking ahead his legacy . He is currently managing family’s real estate and hospitality business in USA. Divyesh completed his schooling in India and moved to USA for higher studies. He completed BS and MS in Computer Science and BA in Mathematics/Economics in 2006 – 2007 from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN. After graduating from the college, upon seeing Mr Kakadia’s vision of diving into hospitality business in USA, Divyesh has overseen development of hotels such as Hampton Inn by Hilton, Homewood Suites by Hilton, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriot and Candlewood Suites by IHG. The business also includes already operating fast food restaurants with plans of developing many more in the future with the brands such as Little Caesars, Arooga’s and Golden Corral.
In USA also, Mr Kakadia has stayed true to his philanthropist ways. Over the years, the USA companies have donated to and have organized drives to raise funds for educational institutions, hospitals, cancer research institutions, military focused organizations and underprivileged communities.
