Fast growth in both textile and diamond industry in the late 80’s and early 90’s in Surat gave rise to increasing population. With its multiplier effect the demand for housing and commercial real estate development also boosted . It is evident that Surat has grown rapidly in the past two decades and has potential to become a Mega City . It has been selected one amongst the Smart City Initiative and also figures in the 100 Resilient Cities.

Mr Kakadia, with his vision and acumen, identified this opportunity early on and decided to move to Surat from his home village. Doing business in a city such as Surat can be very challenging especially when you’re very new to it. Known for his hard work, sincerity and honesty, Mr Kakadia immediately had the support from fellow businessmen to dive into the mix of things. From the very beginning in 1990, Mr Kakadia took on challenging projects believing in his own strengths under the banner of “Kakadia Group”. Successfully completing one project after another, the group has since completed over 15 million square feet of development and has delivered them to customers. These developments include houses, town houses, office buildings, manufacturing buildings, warehouse buildings, retail store buildings etc.
Besides being a well-rounded businessman, Mr Kakadia is also an ardent philanthropist. Not being able to attain education himself, Mr Kakadia believes that education is a key to our next generation’s future and it is even more important for the underprivileged children living in the rural areas who do not have access to even basic education sometimes. Over the years, Mr Kakadia has donated to and set up institutions whose primary goal is to provide good education and access to healthcare by building schools and hospitals.
